FWF Europe is dedicated to helping the food sector with regulatory advice, good practices, food safety, and auditing services. Founded inspired by a U.S. aquaponic company, FWF Europe has been at the forefront of promoting aquaponics as a revolutionary solution for global food security since 2020.​

Our journey started during the pandemic, with a mission to educate and support companies in the food sector. We specialize in providing expert consultancy and training in aquaculture, fisheries, and agriculture, focusing on good practices (food risk assessment and ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 22000 implementations).​

With a network exceeding 8,000 connections across the private, public, NGO, research, and consumer sectors, we employ the Quintuple Helix model to drive impactful change. Our accomplishments include a prestigious award from the "NTN Booster for Decarbonization" program in 2022 and participation in the Future 17 program in 2024, where we collaborated with students from five continents to develop cutting-edge aquaponics solutions.​

Looking ahead, we aim to build Portugal’s first urban aquaponics farm with commercial purposes and expand our B2B offerings, delivering customized aquaponics systems tailored to diverse business needs.
